Compared to wild Bluefin, farm-raised Bluefin develops an even higher fat level, thanks to controlled open-sea aquaculture that produces exceptionally marbled, flavorful fish.
Our Fuentes Bluefin Tuna comes from Spain, where it is raised in open-sea farming systems known for delivering outstanding sashimi-grade quality. Origin: Spain (Grupo Fuentes).

Available cuts:

Steak (Darne)
A thick cross-cut from the whole loin, showing a natural gradient from leaner to richer, fattier sections. Ideal for grilling, searing, or enjoying raw.

Akami
A prime cut from the leaner upper loin. Deep red color with a firm texture. Excellent for sashimi, sushi, tataki, or tartare.

Chu-toro
A premium cut from the mid-section near the belly. Moderately firm with rich marbling and a high fat level. Outstanding for sashimi and nigiri.


O-toro
The fattiest and most luxurious cut of the tuna, located under the belly. Buttery, melt-in-your-mouth texture with maximum flavor intensity and an exceptional fat content. The rarest—and most coveted—portion of the fish.
